Funeral notices
Funeral notices.
Our funeral notices give the date, time and place of each funeral we arrange, with the family’s wishes for flowers and donations. They are published online, where you can also leave a message of condolence or give in memory.

Give in memory
Each notice shows the charity the family has chosen, and you can give online. You can also bring a donation to our office, and we will pass it on with your name.

Leave a message
A few words of condolence, or a candle, on the notice. Families tell us how much these mean.

Placing a notice
We will help you write it.
When we arrange a funeral with you, we will help you write the notice, and place it online and in the local paper if you would like. We will read it back to you before it goes anywhere, and there is no rush.
A notice usually includes
- The full name, and the name they were known by.
- Where they lived, and their age.
- Close family, for example “beloved wife of” or “much-loved grandad of”.
- The date, time and place of the funeral.
- Flowers, or donations instead, and to which charity.
Whenever you are ready.
If someone has died, please call us at any hour and we will come to you. For anything else, you are welcome to call, write or call in.
