Cookies

What we store, and why

• Your funeral wishes. If you use our wishes form, what you write is saved in your own browser’s storage so that you can come back to it. It never leaves your device, and the “Clear” button removes it.
• A message you are writing. While you write to us on the contact page, your browser keeps a copy in that tab, so a reload does not lose it. It is cleared when the message is sent or the tab is closed.
• Your cost estimate. The choices you make in the estimator are kept in the page address, so that you can copy a link to it. Nothing is stored or sent anywhere.
• Spam protection. Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a real person is sending the message. It is only loaded on the contact page and is not used for advertising or tracking.
• Visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without identifying you.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as funeral notices, Google Maps or GOV.UK. Those websites have their own cookie policies.
